2018 SA Medical Heritage Society Treasurers Report August 2018 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown and stabilized to a membership of 54 financial members, with a further 32 people and 9 organisations on our interested persons list. Opening balance at the 2017 AGM was $2,648.36. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $2,784.82, 40.9 percent from membership subscriptions. 50.6 percent came from the Xmas function, 8.4% from the History Month event & 0.06% interest. The History Month event brought in $233.10 from the one day exhibition and a small profit of $15 from the Xmas luncheon. Expenditure totalled $2,468.80, this being hire of the Meeting facilities [$330], wine purchases [$140], Xmas function [$1,395], website expenses [$400], Audio system purchase [$193.90] & Stamp Pad [$9.90]. The Society's financial position as at Aug 18 2018 was a net balance of $2,964.38.
David Buob, 2017 SA Medical Heritage Society Treasurers Report August 2017 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown and stabilized to a membership of 38 financial members with a further 24 on our interested persons list. Opening balance at the 2016 AGM was $3,157.02. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $2,133.30, 39 percent from membership subscriptions. 41 percent came from the Xmas function & 20% from the Torrens Island Excursion. Expenditure totalled $2,642.28 this being hire of the Meeting facilities [$440], wine purchases [$302], Xmas function [$700], Excursion [$375], website expenses [$300], Laptop purchase [$445] & SA History Council Membership [$30]. The Society’s financial position as at Aug 24 2017 was a net balance of $2,648.36.
David Buob, 2016 SA Medical Heritage Society Treasurers Report August 2016 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown and stabilized to a membership of 40 financial members with a further 10 on our interested persons list. Opening balance at the 2015 AGM was $2,688.84. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $1,032.18, eighty six percent from membership subscriptions. Eleven percent came from the Xmas function & 3% from interest payments. Expenditure totalled $564.00 this being hire of the Meeting facilities, wine purchases & website expenses. The Society's financial position as at Aug 01 2016 was a net balance of $3,157.02
David Buob, 2015 SA Medical Heritage Society Treasurers Report, August 2015 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown and stabilized to a membership of 33 financial members with a further 11 on our interested person's list. Opening balance at the 2014 AGM was $2,547.73. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $2,190.81, thirty percent from membership subscriptions. A generous member kindly donated $800 to our Society and this was very much appreciated. The rest came from the Xmas function & interest. Expenditure totalled $2,049.70 this being the Xmas function, wine purchases, website expenses & membership of the Australian & New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine & The History Council of SA. The Society's financial position as at Aug 16, 2015 was a net balance of $2,688.84.

Opening balance at the 2013 AGM was $2,454.15. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $991.58, thirty-nine percent from membership subscriptions and the rest from the Xmas function & interest. Expenditure totalled $908 this being the Xmas function, website expenses & membership of the Aust & NZ Society of the History of Medicine. The Society's financial position as at Aug 7 2014 was a net balance of $2,547.73
David Buob 2013 SA Medical Heritage Society Treasurers Report, August 2013 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown to a membership of 45 with a further 25 on our interested persons list. Opening balance at the 2012 AGM was $1,888.90. In the 12 month period receipts totalled $758.25, sixty-five percent from membership subscriptions, and the rest from the Christmas function and interest. Expenditure totalled $193, this being the Christmas function, the Kapunda trip, and membership of the Australian & New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine. The Society's financial position as of August 15, 2013 was a net balance of $2,454.15.

Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown to a membership of 37, with a further 26 on our interested person's list. Opening balance at the 2011 AGM was $2,209.68 In the 12 month period receipts totaled $650.22, half from membership subscriptions and the rest from the Christmas function & a donation. Expenditure totaled $1091, this being Christmas function, website costs, and membership of the Aust & NZ Society of the History of Medicine. The Society's financial position as at Aug 23 2012 was a net balance of $1888.90.
David Buob 2009 May Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005 the Society has grown to a membership of 69 with 36 being currently financial. Opening balance at the May 2008 AGM was $1,697.32. In the 12 month period receipts totaled $520.00, with $320 from membership subscriptions and $200 from member donations. Expenditure totaled $20.55 with this total mount being secretarial expenses. The Society’s financial position as at May 2009 was a net balance of $2,016.77 Less expenses $28.15 $1,988.62 ======= David Buob 2006 SA MEDICAL HERITAGE SOCIETY TREASURERS REPORT-MAY 2006 Since reconstitution of the Society in March 2005, the Society has grown to a paid membership of 38. Opening balance was $1,637.39 In the 14 month period receipts totaled $433.08, with $430 from membership subscriptions and $3.08 being interest accrued. Expenditure totaled $553.35 with $249 being for purchase of the Filemaker Pro V8 software package; $304.10 for postage and stationery expenses and $0.25 FID tax.
